The team combines international leadership and governance experience with strong local technical and execution capacity in Nepal, enabling the Fund to develop, finance, and deliver complex infrastructure assets to institutional and development finance standards.

Dr. Madan Uprety serves as Chief Executive Officer of Infra Nepal Development Fund, providing overall strategic leadership and execution oversight across the Fund's hydropower and infrastructure portfolio. He brings over 25 years of senior management and entrepreneurial experience in the United States, with a background spanning medical enterprises, real estate construction, financial services, infrastructure development, and philanthropy.

Prakash Dhungana

Chief Technical Officer
Dr. Prakash Dhungana completed his Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BE Civil) in 2003 from Tribhuvan University (T.U.), Nepal. Since then, he has been continuously involved in the construction and development of hydropower projects, ranging from micro-hydropower schemes to large-scale hydropower projects across Nepal.

Mani Raj Dahal is one of the pioneers of hydropower engineering in Nepal. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Hydraulics and River Engineering, with advanced training from the IHE Delft Institute for Water Education, Netherlands.

Dr. Chhatra Basnet is a senior tunnel engineering specialist trained at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). He brings decades of experience in tunnel design and construction supervision in Nepal's complex Himalayan geology and currently serves as Secretary of the Nepal Tunneling Association.

Narayan Poudel is a Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in hydropower financial modeling, banking, and strategic planning. He has worked with more than 100 small, medium, and large hydropower projects across Nepal, advising on project bankability, financial structuring, tariff analysis, and lender engagement.
